    Installed the VL2 in my wife's car after Christmas. Worked wonderfully for about a month and now the sytem shorts out after 15-20 seconds and goes back to car media. Will immediately work again but only for 15-20 seconds.

    Try the following:
    1. Reboot the system. Support -> All Settings -> About -> VLine System Updates -> Reboot VLine
    2. Factory reset the system: Support -> All Settings -> About -> VLine System Updates -> Factory Reset (erase all data)

    Also check if the latest update is available, and apply:
    You need to connect the VLine VL2 to the Internet to perform the system updates. Once you connect the VLine VL2 to a hotspot or Wi-Fi network, go to the Support app on the VLine VL2 home screen. Go to “How to update VLine VL2” section and tap on “Check for updates.” Once you select “Check for updates,” you can download and install the latest firmware and software versions.

      "Have you checked the factory Lexus Settings to ensure the "Automatic Screen Change" setting is turned off? That setting can cause this exact issue.

      Typically "Automatic Screen Change" is found under the General Lexus Settings on the radio."

      This was the message from the support team and it seems like it has resolved the issue!
