Disabling Toyota Native Maps?

I have a 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser paired with Apple iPhone 11 running IOS26.2. I choose to tether my phone to the car with USB whenever in the car for two reasons: 1) to facilitate ongoing phone charging; 2) I read here that GROM doesn't play nice using Bluetooth with CarPlay. Then, my other issue is that my car stereo always launches by going straight to the native Toyota map. Any advice to solving these problems? Thanks in advance.

Try the following:
While in VLine Main UI Screen, tap on the hamburger menu in the upper left corner.
Go to VLine Settings --> Vehicle Integration and tap on "Show VLine After Reverse".
Once this setting is enabled, the stereo will return to VLine user interface after the reverse.
