All issues with backup cameras have been resolved with the latest firmware versions, please update the firmware fully and let us know if any issues persist!

(To Update: Settings -> System -> VLine System Updates -> Check For Updates)

    Thanks!

When using the VAUX AV Cable where do you connect Back up (thin Red wire) wire to Vline ?

The newest update still did not fix my reverse camera issues. I've had this problem since day one. The screen will flicker and go back to the last screen the vline was on.

Can confirm this works. You can change the 1 to a 2 to get the VL2 page. The issue I have now is the firmware version available there now also has an issue where it switches to the factory display and sometimes stays there when starting the car or randomly switches to it without warning while driving. It was fixed with a later version. I'm not sure why all versions aren't available for download.

Also of not is the messaging of don't update firmware unless told to by support. If that is the intent, it should be stated on the device and there should be a warning on the update feature, rather than just saying update available. People naturally will download updates to the latest version of things.

In general we always recommend to update on the regular basis. The latest firmwares are not available on the firmware page, but once you update to the one that is on the firmware page, you can then upgrade to the latest.

Still seeing this behavior in a 2010 Lexus ES. Verified the camera works correctly when the VLINE has been removed. Using a LEX6VL2 with latest OTA firmware. Upgraded yesterday but still no luck.
