Turn "Auto Screen Change" OFF if VLine stays for 5 minutes and goes to factory UI

On many Lexus stereos, the "Auto Screen Change" option will be turned "ON" by default. This will make the stereo override the vLine VL2 / vLite VT2 user interface and switch to the factory user interface.

To prevent that from happening, go to Lexus Menu --> Setup --> General and scroll down to the "Auto Screen Change". Ensure you select "OFF" and hit "SAVE". Watch the how-to video here:

Here is where the same "AUTO SCREEN" setting is available on Lexus 2010-2012 stereos:

This setting is available on most 2025 and newer Lexus models, but it is usually OFF by default for 2005-2012 models. If not, now you know how to turn it off
