VL2 Random Black Screen on Vehicle Start At Times - LS430

I have a VLine VL2 in a 2004 LS430 and randomly when I start the car after the 'Lexus' intro screen goes away, the screen will be black for a few seconds and go back to the stock UI Safety Notice screen. Hitting "Audio" once or "Disc" twice to bring up the VL2's screen again it does the same thing, black then back to Safety Notice. I can't click 'Agree' on the safety notice or do anything with the stock screen other than control the Climate when it's like this.

Unplugging the VL2 and plugging back in works every time, but sometimes on the next start it's back working again, sometimes not. It happens every ~15-20 times I start the car maybe? When it does this, bluetooth still works but I obviously can't use Android Auto or anything else in the VL2 because it won't boot into the UI.

Any ideas? Seen it before? Thanks.

2. If everything is up to date and the system runs on Android 12, you can use the "Short Sleep Cycle" . Go to the Settings Menu in the top left corner of the VLine user interface (sandwich menu), Vehicle Integration --> Short Sleep Cycle. Add a checkmark next to "Short Sleep Cycle" to enable this setting.
