My Grom module is rather old but I don't see any reason it should suddenly stop working. I'm not sure the model but has a sticker with SKU424 on it. It has an aux input, SD slot and USB. I only ever use the USB.
I updated my music files on my flash drive. When I inserted it back into the Grom unit directly (it suddenly stopped working using an extension cable 2 years ago), it doesn't play anything. It flashes between "5-14" and "8-99." I have 6 folders all appropriately labeled CD01 through CD06 and each has less than 100 files in them, as always.
I can't find anything to help troubleshoot and can't think where to begin so that I can get some music in my car again. Please help!
