On some, but not all vehicles, it is possible to use factory FM radio and keep VLine Maps (or CarPlay / Android Auto) active on the screen at the same time. Here is the short write-up how to enable it for different models of the VLine VL2 / VLite VT2:
LEX5 / LEX5LS / LEX4 / LEX3 / LEX3L / LEXGS / LEXGX - while in VLine mode simply press FM. The FM overlay will appear at the top of the screen.
LEX7 / LEX89 / LEX9: You can go to the FM radio source, then press and hold MAPS (or MENU if MAPS is not present) for 3-5 seconds, and then the VLine should appear.
LEX7T / LEX8T / LEX9T -

- Tap the upper right corner 3-5 times
- VLine should appear while FM is playing
