This article applies to the select Infiniti and Nissan 2008-2012 stereos with the factory navigation, compatible with NIS8 model of VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 system for CarPlay and Android Auto integration into the factory car stereo:

The VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 uses the AUX source of the stereos in the abovementioned cars, which some radios support as an AV input source. In those cases, the active parking brake will not allow the VLine to display. If you'd like to disable the parking brake's influence over the display, please cut the light green wire on the 40-pin MCFNIS8 harness (PIN 13).
