After installing the VLite VT2 into my 2015 Acura TLX (no nav) some issues began to occur.
1. My top screen would randomly turn off. Checked wires all were good.
2. One day my radio and screens did not turn on. Checked wires again, all were good, then checked my audio fuse (#18) and it was blown. Changed it and all was good again.
3. By key fob was having a hard time locking and unlocking the car. Then it completely stopped working. Changed battery, still didn't work. Then I noticed that my fob was not working, my door locks were not locking from the inside, half my steering controls were gone and the VT2 was not booting up. Did I mention, this whole time my car alarm was going off.
4. Suggestion from a locksmith was to remove the system and see what happens. I did and all the issues were resolved. I think the VT2 was conflicting with something in the car via the stereo.
Any suggestions?
