No VT2 video when aux is pressed

Hello,
Just installed my VT2, and when I press the AUX button, the VT2 interface does not come up. I have checked all connections and they seem to be ok (when unplugged at the vt2 box the display/vt2 box both turn off). Also, the top USB port worked for a little but now is dead (checked with multiple cables).

Seems to be a bad box in my opinion. Any help would be much appreciated.

The vehicle I have is a 2013 Honda Pilot Touring. It has NAV.

Our unit should appear under the CD Changer source, not AUX. Can you confirm if the VLine comes up under CD Changer?
