Black Screen after install on 2015 Equinox

I just completed install of the VLite in my 2015 Equinox. I followed all of the instructions and have all of the cables plugged in. The vlite glows green upon pluggin in the serial cable in the back. I followed the initialization procedure in the manual. I see Grom Audio, IPod 18 when I switch source to IPod. Then the screen just goes black.

I have no idea where to start trouble shooting. The video cable is plugged into the vlite correctly. I unplugged the factory video from the head unit, plugged in the male connector from the vlite, then plugged the factory video cable into the female connector on the vlite display cable.

Never mind. I read the instructions wrong. The factory video stays in the stereo. The Y display cable needs to go to the display itself.

The GVMF video cable plugs into the back of the display (not the stereo), need to pay attention to it.
