There are two models of VLine VL2 Systems available for Acura and Honda vehicles.

We created this article to guide you thought Android Auto capability available on VLine VL2 infotainment system . This article uses Lexus stereo as a model, however all steps and functionality are the same for the other vehicles that VLine supports - Infiniti, Nissan, and upcoming Acura and Honda.

You can get Android Auto functionality by plugging in your Android phone to VLine via USB cable. Once the phone is plugged in, Android Auto icon activates on the display, and you can access full Android Auto functionality in your vehicle.

Note to VLine VL1 users: If you want to get Android Auto functionality for your VLine VL1, please contact our technical support team directly for help. There will be no firmware release for VLine VL1 enabling Android Auto.

"Super simple install and works like a charm on a 2007 Audi A4. I ran the Mic through the dash bottom (remove fuse panel cover under A pillar), up the A pillar, and attached to the windshield. The GROM box sits in the valley below the factory radio as there is loads of room behind the HVAC controls. Helps to have a proper trim tool kit. Even going slow this took under 30 minutes. " -

Lexus LS 600H/460 with Rear Seat Entertainment - remote testers are invited to test VLine - correction from last month
Last month we published invitation for remote beta-testing of VLine on Lexus LS 600H / 460 for the years of 2006-2012. Thanks to all who responded!

However there is the correction in required years of the vehicle.We are looking for the owners of Lexus LS 600H / 460 2010-2012 with rear seat entertainment to assist us in the testing of VLine in their vehicle.

You do not have to reside in San Francisco Bay Area, all testing will be done remotely.

You will spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour working with us providing the feedback, and we are offering great discount on VLine system for your participation in our R&D process.
