Installation into Acura MDX 2014

In this video, we show the car stereo removal, dashboard disassembly, and the installation of the VLine VL2 system into Acura MDX 2014-2020. This installation applies to most Acura vehicles compatible with the VLine VL2 system. Please review how we make a P-Tap connection of the reverse wire; route the cables and position the VLine module inside the glove box.
The model of the VLine VL2 system that is compatible with Acura MDX 2014-2020 is HON3VL2.

This video shows you how VLine VL2 works when installed into Acura MDX 2014-2020. Once you connect the VLine VL2 system to the back of the factory stereo in Acura MDX 2014-2020, you can use CarPlay, Android Auto, and a fully functional Android interface directly on your car stereo. The model of the VLine VL2 system compatible with Acura MDX 2014-2020 is HON3VL2.

In this video, we explain how the factory USB retention cable can help you to integrate the factory USB port with the VLine VL2 system. You can use this port for wired (via USB) connection to CarPlay or Android Auto. This option is available for select Lexus / Toyota, Honda / Acura, and Nissan / Infiniti vehicles.
The factory USB retention cables are available on our website in the VLine accessories section.

You can remove the factory 12V cigarette lighter socket and replace it with the USB flush mount cable. It will allow for a clean installation of your VLine VL2 CarPlay Android Auto system, and you can use this USB connector for Apple® CarPlay® or Android Auto® integration.

You can use an air mouse wireless remote clicker with the VLine VL2 CarPlay Android Auto system for more effortless operation. This air mouse will also work for the VLite VT2 system.
It will allow you to control VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 with just a button click. This air mouse is designed to work with Android OS specifically and offers speed and precision.

This video provides step-by-step guidance for the wireless Android Auto® connection with the VLine VL2 system.
