Answer: Yes you can do that. First you will connect your phone to the factory Bluetooth. Then you connect it to the GROM-BT3 Bluetooth car kit. As the HFP (hands free phone calls) profile is already taken by factory car stereo, the phone will connect to GROM-BT3 Bluetooth for wireless music streaming only.
Note there is a limitation on the Android phones. If the Android phone is connected to the GROM-BT3 for Bluetooth wireless music streaming, and to the factory Bluetooth for the hands free phone calls, you will not be able to use the car stereo/steering wheel controls to control the wireless music over Bluetooth. This is an Android system limitation. If you need the ability to control the music using car stereo/steering wheel controls wireless via GROM-BT3 Bluetooth car kit, you need to connect both audio and phone calls to GROM Bluetooth.
iPhone does not have such limitation.
