I’m installing a Vline 2 in a 2006 Lexus GS430. When I select the Vline, the picture is distorted. Wiggling the video cable that goes into the Grom box helps and the image almost resolves but never goes clear. Could there be loose pins in the connector?

At Grom’s suggestion, I opened the controller today and verified a ribbon cable was fully inserted and secured. I still think the problem is in a cable. Grom is being great. They are sending a new unit and will refund the second one when we return the first. No complaints about their support to now. -
New unit installed, all is well. I didn’t take time to investigate the pins in the cable that connects to the box because they sent a replacement. Last step is for me to drop the first one in the mail back to them.Comment
