iOS 18 Update affected CarPlay on VLine VL2 or VLite VT2

If you've recently updated your iPhone to iOS 18 and noticed that CarPlay on your VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system has stopped working or is experiencing issues, don't worry! Simply update your VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system to the latest firmware to restore functionality.

To find the latest updates connect your VLine to Wi-Fi and go to Settings -> System -> VLine System Updates -> Check For Updates. You can also connect the VLine to Wi-Fi and go to the Support app, and you will see a pop-up if any updates are available.

In addition to updating the VLine VL2 system to the latest firmware, on your iPhone go to Accessibility and disable "Vocal Shortcuts" that you might have enabled after updating the iPhone to iOS18.
According to many CarPlay users, disabling "Vocal Shortcuts" also fixes CarPlay functionality issues caused by iOS18 iPhone update.
