  • 2010 CTS-V Vline 2 updates issues.

Im coming up on a full year of having the vline installed in my car. It hasnt been the most pleasant journey to have this integration unit. Ive had to replace a unit under 2 months due to constant screen flickering or complete freezing while driving, which lead me to put an inline toggle switch to the main radio fuse being a true fix despite numerous firmware revisions along with revisions for the simple aftermarket backup camera feature not working. Which I learned to just accept and deal with overtime instead of chasing it to work flawlessly as I heard it should be.

I get the email about updating to android 12. Great, maybe this will drastically improve AA glitches I attributed to being too old for newer phones etc. I paid for the early release. Today I got to install it after work which takes longer than 20 mins when you start adding back all your old apps etc. Finished that and 1st thing i noticed is disney plus..no longer available( had it before the update). Backup camera..doesnt display at all but literally worked fine backing into my driveway to keep the car on for the 20 mins process. Now it just shows white noise type of screen. Other apps such as netflix, prime video, waze..randomly show in landscape mode then portrait mode which i havent seen that happen before. I also hate how the UI is always ontop of apps and doesnt not timeout and disappear, it blocks typing in things or clicking that spot of an app also no touchscreen calibration app as its not accurate like it was. I feel like the previous UI was more polished than this update and having to pay for it..and losing features I already had.

Heres pics, for the record I tried a complete restart, reset, turned disable factory camera off and on settings, checked all connections etc with no luck.
Hope Grom can patch this up for me.

I have a 2010 Cadillac CTS. However, I am having issues where the screen is completely unresponsive to any touching whatsoever trying to figure out if there’s a way to do a reboot of the system without having to uninstall my dash again to access the cords to unplug it.
