Lexus stereo switches from VLine VLite back to factory after few seconds - what to do
IMPORTANT STEPS TO PERFORM AFTER INSTALLATION!
Turning OFF "Auto Screen Change" in the factory stereo settings.
For the VLINE mode to operate smoothly, it's crucial to disable the “Auto Screen Change” option in the Lexus Infotainment system. This step is vital to ensure the system's proper functionality.
If this function is not turned off while using VLine, the VLine screen on the stereo will switch automatically to factory UI screens after 10-15 seconds have passed.
To turn this function OFF:
1. On factory stereo, press the MENU button > then go into SETUP > select GENERAL
2. Scroll down until you see the option line AUTO SCREEN CHANGE.
3. Select OFF for AUTO SCREEN CHANGE. Make sure to hit SAVE for LEX6 LEX6RT LEX78 LEX78T LEX9 LEX9T LEX9L VLine / VLite models and compatible Lexus and Toyota stereos.
