Android Auto in Lexus IS350 IS250 ISF with VLine VL2 Video Interface and Navigation Upgrade System - DEMO
VLine VL2 is an Android based car computing system that fully integrates into your vehicle stereo system and factory touchscreen.
Once connected to your factory car stereo and to the internet, VLine allows you to display Google, Waze, Sygic Maps, and integrated music apps, right on your car stereo display.
The following functionality is enabled:
Maps: Google Maps, Waze, Sygic, Here, or map of your choice from Google play store (also we recommend these four).
Music: Integrated music plugins within VLine user interface are Spotify, Web Radio, Google Music and local (stored on USB) music.
Other apps: Access to the other apps from Google play store.
Voice: Voice activation for Navigation with Google or Waze maps; voice search for music within Spotify, Web Radio or GMusic app plugins.
Bluetooth music streaming: Stream Bluetooth Music through your factory car stereo with VLine, see the track titles and album/artist information,
have cover art displayed on your car stereo screen, when available.
In addition to the above mentioned functionality, VLine VL2 offers smartphone integration for Android Auto and CarPlay experience.
In this demo video we are showing Lexus IS350 Stereo with VLine VL2 and Android Auto. To activate Android Auto, simple steps are required:
1. Download Android Auto on your phone. Allow all permissions and notifications that the app asks for.
2. Connect your Android phone to Lexus and VLine VL2 via USB cable, tap on Android Auto icon to activate it.
Android Auto in your Lexus will allow you to:
- - Navigate with Waze and Google Maps
- - Play your music from favorite app such as Spotify, Pandora, Google Music
- - Send and receive text messages using voice
- - Make phone calls (calls will go through the factory system)
- - Use Google Voice assistant with OK Google command
