LC200 2009 - Steering wheel telephone controls

I have recently checked all the connections to make the phone working via Android Auto, and it seems to be fine now.
One thing I could not make work properly are the two buttons on the steering wheel, as pushing them causes the screen of the OEM system to pop up, switching over from the previously selected Android Auto screen.
Any solution to that ?

Upon the phone call try to push the TRACK UP button on the steering wheel controls and see if that will accept the phone call. Or use the stereo to accept the call.
