    Try the following:
    1. Turn off the ignition and the stereo. Disconnect the VLine main module from the power interface and video cables and let it "sit" for 10 minutes.
    2. Reconnect the VLine module to the cables, cycle the ignition, and enter the stereo's VLine mode.

If that will not help, contact our technical team at https://gromaudio.com/support.html We will help.

      Mine went purple too
turned it off for 30 minutes and nothing. Disconnected all the cables for about 15 minutes and put it back to factory connections, that works fine. Reconnected everything back to Vline2 and same people screen. I can't read anything, it's just a purple screen.

Grom sent me an .hex file to put on a USB stick and it worked after the 3rd try. No longer a brick but working nicely now. TY
