Hello - I installed the unit in a 2007 RX 350. The backukp camera in my vehicle works - it goes from the VLine screen to the camera, but then when I put it back in drive it goes back to the factory Lexus screen and I have to hit the audio button to make it go back to the Vline screen again. Do I need to connect the purple reverse cable to something?

Hello,
You do not need to connect the purple wire. The factory system will always return the stereo to the factory navigation after you exit reverse for the 2007 RX 350 Lexus. This behavior is automatic, which is how Lexus has their stereos programmed. This behavior is standard for all LEX5 models:
