The kit works for Audi MMi High 2G stereos with MP3 support and MMI Software version 33.6.0 and newer.
Please read this
document (.pdf) about how you can check the software version of
your stereo MMI. If your MMI software is older than 33.6.0, you can update it with your local Audi dealer.

iPhone / iPod/ iPad USB car integration: Connect Apple device to the Audi A6 Allroad 2006 2007 2008 factory car stereo via USB port.
Play music, control from car stereo or steering wheel, and charge at the same time.
Use standard USB to Apple Lightning connector cable. All iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad with Lightning style cable are compatible.
iPhone, iTouch, and iPad with 30-pin style cable are compatible.
(iPod video, iPod photo, iPod classic, iPod shuffle, iPod mini with 30-pin connectors are not compatible.)
Bluetooth add-on (sold separately): Make hands free phone calls (HFP), stream music from your smartphone to the Audi A6 Allroad 2006 2007 2008 factory car stereo,

Important Installation Notes: Please check that the CD Changer function is activated on your factory stereo.
If it is not activated - you will need to contact dealer and ask to activate the CD changer function.
