Lexus GX 470 2007-2009 Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with GROM VLine VL2 - DEMO

GROM VLine Infotainment System is a Navigation and Video interface for Lexus GX 470 2007-2009 with factory navigation that provides you with the ultimate connected car experience. VLine VL2 is an Android-based car computing system that fully integrates into your vehicle's stereo system and factory touchscreen.

Once connected to your factory car stereo and the internet, VLine allows you to display Google and Waze Maps and integrated music apps on your car stereo display. In addition, it offers smartphone integration for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

In this video we show how you can access the VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 mode of your stereo so you can use wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. You can also see how to use the factory FM radio and CarPlay / Android Auto maps at the same time. In addition, you will see that all important factory stereo functions such as climate controls, backup camera, will keep working after the installation of GROM VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system.

The system fully works with the original Lexus touchscreen. The voice assistants such as Siri and Google Assistant can be activated by pressing and holding TRACK UP button on the steering wheel controls. To make the stereo play FM or XM while in CarPlay or Android Auto, simply go to the CD Changer source to display the VL2/VT2, then select the OEM source from the Lower Radio Buttons. Do not forget to switch the audio source back to VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 if you want to play the music using CarPlay or Android Auto.
