Toyota Prius 2006-2009 VLine Navigation CarPlay Android Auto System Install

This install show you how to install and connect VLine infotainment system into Toyota Prius 2006-2009.

In this video, we show how to disassemble the dashboard to get the access to the back of the stereo and display, how to connect and route the cables to the glove compartment, how to hide the GPS antenna so it is not visible, yet the signal is not obstructed, and how to connect the factory microphone wire. You can use the factory microphone when installing GROM VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 system for CarPlay and Android Auto into Toyota Prius 2006-2009 stereo.

Once VLine is connected to your car stereo, you get the following functionality:

Smartphone integration:
- CarPlay - both wired and wireless
- Android Auto - both wired and wireless

Embedded Android System:
No smartphone required - have all Android apps to run directly on VLine VL2 system, and control using car stereo display and controls. You can run almost any apps, available at Google Play Store.

Music:
- Spotify
- Web Radio
- Pandora
- Music stored on USB storage devices
To play the music from the internet directly into your car stereo system, see cover art and text, browse by genres, playlists, favorites and more.

Maps:
- Have Google Maps or Waze displayed directly on your car stereo screen;
- ability to get navigation and real time traffic updates directly on your car stereo screen;
-use voice command to start navigation

Voice Commands:
- use your voice to start navigation;
- use your voice to find the music that you would like to listen to.

VLine is fully integrated into your car stereo. You can use the touch screen, car stereo and steering wheel controls to operate VLine. In addition VLine does not disable any factory features, such as FM or climate controls.
