your Android 12 upgrade will be published and made available to you at the later date. We will email the notification once the Android 12 Upgrade becomes available for your specific device.

Upgrade Android version on VLine VL2 Infotainment System module from 8.1 to 12. Firmware is downloaded directly from the internet to the device.

The steps are simple: - Update VL2 software to 3.81.0.0 - Go to Support -> VLine Update -> Upgrade to Android 12 and follow the instructions on screen - The whole process will be automatic and will take ~15 minutes - Do not turn the power off during the upgrade process!
The update is available for VLine VL2 only. Your system needs Android 8.1 to upgrade, fully updated to the latest firmware and software.
Automatic download will be available within 10-15 minutes after the purchase.

Q.: I have more than one VLine Infotainment System. Do I need to purchase the update for every module I have ?
A.: Yes, you need to purchase the OTA for each unit separately in separate transactions.
Q.: Can I roll back the VLine VL2 OS version after I installed the Android 12 upgrade?
A.: No, you cannot roll back to the Android 8.1 after you installed Android 12.
