VLine LEX6VL2 model is only compatible with the vehicles that have factory USB port that supports iPod/iPhone playback. USB port will be disabled with the
installation of VLine VL2. USB Media external module will need to be disconnected.Backup camera limitations:
On some rare stereos you may experience backup camera limitations. VL2 may
disable backup camera while in VLine mode. This limitation is only applicable to select LEX6 vehicles, on all other Lexus vehicles backup camera will keep working. If this is the case, you will need either to turn the
stereo off or switch to non VLine mode (such as FM) to reactivate the backup camera while in
Park Assist limitations:
Park Assist may not work properly while VLine is connected. This limitation is applicable to LEX6 vehicles only, on all other Lexus vehicles park assist will keep working.

Vline VL2 system is an Android-based car infotainment add-on that integrates into your vehicle factory (OEM) stereo.
It works seamlessly with the existing car stereo screen/display, sound system, and buttons/controls.

Voice activation allows use of voice control over navigation with Google, Waze, Sygic, and HereWeGo maps. Voice search is also
available within music app plugins including Spotify, Web Radio, Pandora, Google Music, and local music as stored on USB stick / SD card and connected to VLine VL2.

VLine VL2 for
can play any music app as available in Google Play Store. However, all VLine systems have built-in app
plugins to create a unified environment with large display fonts and graphics for ease of use while driving. Plugins include Spotify, Pandora, Google Music, and Web Radio
(VLine owns radio app that is similar to TuneIn). Navigation Apps:
Install any map app from Google Play Store including Google, Waze, Sigyc, and HereWeGo. Set default navigation map app for
quick access via voice activation and home launcher screen. Voice activation allows the use of voice control over navigation with Google, Waze, Sygic, and HereWeGo maps. Use
stereo buttons and touchscreen
to use these apps.Other apps:
Install any app available at Google Play store or sideload your preferred app. Note that not all apps are optimized for driving. Install safely and
Wi-Fi connectivity is required to use the majority of VLine apps and Maps. VLine can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi either using smartphone internet tethering
or standalone mobile data hotspot / modem and data plan. NOTE: Wi-Fi connectivity is not needed for CarPlay® or Android Auto®.
Bluetooth A2DP music streaming is available for most smartphones with cover art
and title support.

car stereo sound system for pure crystal-clear sound.
Firmware upgrades are available within VLine system and downloaded over WiFi or USB. It is recommended that you update your VLine VL2 firmware
as it is made available. Rear and front facing camera:
add aftermarket backup and front facing camera to your vehicle with VLine VL2 system. VAUX AV cable is required, and sold separately here >>
Note: you do not need VAUX AV cable to retain your factory backup and front cameras, or any other cameras, they will keep working
with VLine VL2 system installed.
Wireless Bluetooth Mini Keyboard (sold separately):
The keyboard is useful to input any information such as Wi-Fi password or email into VLine. Connects via Bluetooth,
easy to operate. Integration with your existing system:
All factory features remain functional with the installation of our VLine VL2 system. You can easily switch back and forth between the backup camera, FM radio,
VLine and your CarPlay or Android Auto interface.
Q.: When I install VLine, will it disable any of my car factory functions, such as factory car Bluetooth?
A.: VLine LEX6, LEX6RT, NIS9 will disable only factory iPod USB function of your stereo. The rest of the functions will keep working. Q.: Will my car stereo or steering wheel controls work with VLine?
A.: Yes your car stereo or steering wheel controls will work with VLine.
Q.: Do I need my phone to work with VLine?
A.: VLine is standalone system that does not need any phone. All apps and maps run directly on VLine. You can still use your phone for CarPlay or Android Auto, Bluetooth music streaming or Wifi tethering.
Q.: Can I use an iPhone with VLine?
A.: You can connect your iPhone to VLine for CarPlay, Bluetooth or USB music streaming. You can also use your iPhone to provide internet to VLine. CarPlay is available wireless and via USB.
Q.: Can I use Android smartphone with VLine?
A.: You can connect your Android smartphone for Android Auto, Bluetooth or USB music streaming. You can also use your phone to provide internet to VLine.
Q.: Do I need VAUX AV Cable for Backup and Front-facing Camera if I want to retain my factory cameras?
A.: You do not need VAUX AV cable to retain your factory backup, front-facing, or other cameras. You only need VAUX cable if you want to add aftermarket backup or front-facing camera to your
vehicle. You can integrate it with VLine via VAUX cable
Q.: How can I provide internet to VLine?
A.: Few options are available. We recommend either tether internet from your phone or use dedicated mobile hot spot with sim card and internet plan. Please read more in our
